Dog photography in the autumn

I don’t know about you but its actually a bit of a relief that we’re starting to get some chillier weather after such a hot summer.

Autumn is a perfect time for a shoot with your dog as everywhere is starting to look really pretty with the leaves turning all sorts of shades and there are lots of fun autumn sniffs in the fallen leaves for dogs to explore.

Last year I had the privilege of photographing two beautiful dachshunds, Genevieve and Lincoln, and their mum.

I have a real soft spot dachshunds. I just find them so cute but I also love their big personalities- they’re very much in charge!

We had fun wondering around in the beautiful countryside near their home and the dogs were so much fun to photograph. They’re the most beautiful little dogs and I adored meeting them!
