I’m Katy and i’m based near Yeovil in Somerset. As you’re here reading this i’m going to assume you’re as obsessed with your dog as I am with mine! As far as I’m concerned, dogs are family.
My dog photography is all about the relationship between a dog and their human family and that’s why you’ll see lots of people as well as dogs in my images.
My ‘Life with your Dog’ sessions document your lives together and create gorgeous photos that you’ll love and cherish for ever.

Lots of pet photography focuses only on the pet, but for me that’s only half the story. I’ll take beautiful photos of your dog but I’ll also document that amazing bond you share. I aim to capture images that truly showcase your dog's unique personality and capture the moments you spend together.
Just like people, dogs go through changes as they age, and it's adorable to be able to look back at photos of them as a puppy or young dog and see how they've grown over the years. That's why it's never too early to schedule a photo shoot - I can take pictures of dogs of all ages, and the sooner you start documenting your life with your dog, the better.
The essence of what I do is about capturing those special moments in your life with your dog. I value the small things in life, even though they may be easily overlooked. By documenting these moments through photography, you'll have cherished memories of you and your dog that will last forever.
My Style
Ok, i’m just going to go ahead and say it- traditional dog photography gives me the ick!
It tells me nothing about the dog’s personality or how they like the spend time with their human.
I create images of dogs that mean something and tell your story.
I love creating images of the here and now, the little everyday things that we take for granted and will over time. We often only fully appreciated these things when we look back at photos of them.
The photos I take of dogs show their personality and all things that make their life with you. The muddy walks, the snuggles on the sofa, the mischief, the unspoken connections; your life with your dog.

The Shoot.
I’ll take some to time say hi to your dog (and you!) and then we’ll hang out for up to an hour and i’ll take photos of you both. Its nice and simple.
Whilst I shoot a lot of documentary style images we’ll also do some portraits throughout the shoot but we’ll keep these simple, quick and super relaxed.
I might use treats or toys to get your dog’s attention for portraits. Whatever works for them. And if they have a bit of a funny tummy and can only eat specific food, please bring that with you to the shoot.
This bit is important. Make sure you read it.
I’ll spend up to an hour with you and your dog but this will be entirely up to your dog. They have to be happy with the shoot and if they are tired or in anyway stressed then we stop the shoot. My main priority is that your dog is relaxed ad happy.
If you have a dog that is very shy and unsure around new people I am happy to arrive early to take some extra time to get to know you’re dog at their own pace.
